A movie clip of the experimental 4401 TGV POS trainset during high-speed tests in Southern France north of the Aix-en-Provence TGV station. The TGV POS (Paris-Ostfrankreich-Süddeutschland) train uses asynchronous drives for a maximum power of over 9,200 kW on French high-speed railways.
The TGV POS trainsets made by Alstom will circulate on the TGV East high-speed railway as early as mid-2007 with ICE 3 multi-voltage trainsets on the French rail network.
