On the West side of the station, a glass frontage lined with a protection made of adjustable wooden boards allows to avoid the direct light of the sun.

The attraction of the station articulates around the conglomeration of Aix and the towns east of the Berre Pond. The population represents 350,000 inhabitants.
When the West of the Berre Pond and the East of Marseille are included, the whole population
in this area reaches 500,000 inhabitants.
