One of the latest regional trains manufactured by Alstom Transport, the CORADIA Duplex is called TER 2N NG in France.

Unlike the TER 2N railcar which is a 2-car trainset, the TER 2N NG railcar exists in different versions: 2 or 3 cars (Z24500 series) on the one hand and 4 or 5 cars
(Z26500 series) on the other hand according to the needs of the French regions.

The TER 2N NG railcars can circulate everywhere on the French electric rail network (1500 V DC and 25000 V AC).

In the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, these new railcars are used on the recently opened Cannes - Grasse - Nice - Vintimille line.
The electric railcars can be linked to one another thanks to the automatic Scharfenberg coupler made by Voith.
