The Commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of the D-Day in Provence

The Foundation of Free France managed by the former Prime Minister of France, Pierre Messmer, commemorated the 60th anniversary of the Liberation of France with a special train, "The Train of Free France", visiting 16 cities.

The show organised in 5 cars of this train presented the different steps of the Liberation of France by the Free French Forces.

The train's route was: Paris-East, Reims, Lille, Metz, Strasbourg, Lyon, Grenoble, Toulon, Marseille, Toulouse, Périgueux, Rennes, Nantes, Vannes, Caen and Versailles.
